PORT WING, Wisc. -- The Duluth Padres defeated the Port Wing Boilers, 12-0, in an Upper 13 League baseball game called after seven innings due to the 10-run rule at Anderson-Samuelson Field in Port Wing.
 
Greg Schullo, Nick Moran, and Bob Baxton had two hits each for Duluth; Baxton hit a triple and Schullo and Moran each hit a double. Schullo, Baxton, and Chris Musolf had two RBIs apiece.
 
Winning pitcher Anthony Bush (4-3, 3.52 ERA) allowed two hits in six innings and retired the first 10 batters he faced. He had three strikeouts and no walks. Jake Lewis threw a perfect seventh inning in relief, with one strikeout.
 
Jared Gustafson was the losing pitcher. He allowed seven earned runs on nine hits and three walks with four strikeouts in six innings.
 
Duluth improved to 4-1 in the Upper 13 League (6-10 overall). Port Wing fell to 1-5 in league play.
