DULUTH -- Matt Lloyd scored on an error with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Proctor Padres a walk-off win in an Upper 13 League baseball game at Bulldog Park. Lloyd drew a two-out walk, advanced to third base on a single by Andrew Nylund, and scored when James Ostrander reached on an error.

Bob Baxton earned the win in relief of Anthony Bush. Baxton allowed one earned run on four hits, one walk, and one hit batsman in three innings pitched. He entered the game in the seventh inning with Proctor ahead 10-7, and had a blown save by allowing Bayside to even the score at 10-10 in the top of the ninth inning on a two-run double by Cal Fougner. Baxton had five strikeouts.

Bush allowed five earned runs on eight hits and one walk in six innings pitched. He had six strikeouts.

Bayside took a 5-0 lead in the fourth inning on two hits, including a three-run home run by Bob Eastman, three errors, and a walk. Bayside added a run in the fourth inning on three consecutive hits to take a 6-0 lead.

Proctor exploded for nine runs in the bottom of the fourth inning on six hits and five walks, and chased starter Brad Glassmaker with one out in the fourth. Glassmaker allowed six runs on four hits and five walks in three-and-one-third innings pitched. He had three strikeouts. Reliever Fougner allowed four runs on five hits and five walks in two-and-two-thirds innings. He had three strikeouts. 

Each team scored one run in the sixth inning.

Baxton was three-for-five with two runs, two doubles, and three RBIs, and Noah Hobbs and Andrew Nylund had two hits apiece for Proctor (2-6, 4-12 overall).

Kyle Bolander was four-for-five with two runs scored, and Joe Stark, Eastman, and Fougner each had two hits for Bayside (4-4, 6-9 overall). Eastman had four RBIs.

Losing pitcher Bryan Olson allowed one unearned run on one hit and two walks in two-and-two-thirds innings. He had two strikeouts.

PADRES NOTES: James Ostrander set a club single-game batting record on Wednesday with four bases on balls... Anthony Bush surpassed 200 career innings pitched for the Padres on Wednesday, becoming the first pitcher in club history to reach the milestone. He now has 204 innings pitched as a member of the Padres and 367.1 in his 13-year career... Bob Baxton recorded his 85th career strikeout for the Padres on Wednesday. With 15 more K's, he will become the second pitcher to record 100 career strikeouts for the club.
