DULUTH -- The Proctor Padres defeated the Port Wing Boilers in a non-league baseball game at Bulldog Park. It was the Padres' first game at their new home field after three seasons at Proctor's Terry Egerdahl Memorial Field.

The Padres scored 10 runs on 12 hits and 16 walks. Charlie Habermann was three-for-four with two runs an two RBIs, and Noah Hobbs was three-for-five with a run and an RBI. Corey Pavlich was two-for-four with a run.

Kevin Schubert (2-0, 2.35 ERA, 7.2 IP) earned his second win of the season. He allowed three runs (two earned) in six innings on six hits and four walks. He had four strikeouts. Kyle Cotrell picked up a save with three innings of relief work. Cotrell allowed four unearned runs on five hits and no walks. He had two strikeouts.

Proctor's 16 walks set a new club record.
