BRILL, Wis. -- The Proctor Padres were defeated by the Brill Millers 8-0 in a non-league baseball game at Havelka Field. Proctor managed four hits: two singles by Kyle Cotrell, a single by [Zack Bauers], and a double by Corey Pavlich. The Padres' starting pitcher Anthony Bush (0-1, 0.00 ERA, 8.0 IP) took the loss, allowing one unearned run in three innings on two hits and no walks. Proctor used six pitchers and Brill used four in the exhibition-style game as the two teams prepare for their upcoming league seasons.

James Ostrander was hitless in three at bats, snapping an eight-game hitting streak dating back to July, 2009.

Bauers recorded his first hit as an amateur player in his first at bat.
