WHITE BEAR TOWNSHIP, Minn. -- The Proctor Padres and Bayside Vipers each played two non-league baseball games against White Bear Township on Sat. in White Bear Township. WBT utilized their two-field complex and roster size to play the games with split-squads, a la MLB spring training.

Dan Solarz had two singles and Buddy Carlson had an RBI, also on a fielder's choice. Anthony Bush pitched the complete game. He allowed four earned runs on eight hits and two walks. He had seven strikeouts.

Proctor lost the second game 3-1. Kyle Cotrell pitched the complete game and did not allow an earned run. He gave up six hits and walked five with four strikeouts. Proctor managed four hits. Solarz had a double and an RBI single, and Cotrell and Carlson singled. Jason Melander scored for Proctor.
