GRAND RAPIDS, Minn. -- Grand Rapids defeated the Duluth Dukes, 17-7, in the second game of an Arrowhead League doubleheader. The game was called with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning due to the 10-run rule.
Reid Holum led Grand Rapids with three hits, including a double and a triple, four runs, and two RBI. David Liebe and Zach Frazier added two hits each, and Frazier scored three runs. Winning pitcher Tyrel Cournoyer allowed four earned runs on four hits and nine walks with three strikeouts in five innings.
Mike Lewis was 2-for-3 with two runs and Don Miller had two RBI for Duluth. Losing pitcher Anthony Bush allowed three earned runs on eight hits and one walk in one inning.
