He owned the previous record, 1.47, set in 2013. He also tied the club record of 15 pitching appearances in a season, set by Jesse Olson in 2012. Olson tied his own record in 2013.
Bush surpassed two club career milestones in 2016. He became the first Dukes pitcher to record 100 career pitching appearances, and 500 innings pitched.
